Research Profile
My main field of research is Aquaculture and Fisheries Management. The aspects of ongoing and proposed research work in my field are:
 The study of Limnology and Plankton abundance in relation to fish production of some water bodies in South-West of Nigeria
 The use of Shrimp Waste to formulate feeds in fisheries management and Aquaculture
 The design, construction and management of Recirculating aquacultural system
*Design of some fish smoking kiln
 Development of new foods from fish trash and under utilized fishes
 I am also involved in Organic aquaculture; I have been involved in the use of maggot (wet and dry) as alternative feed in fisheries. I am also involved in the study of the food and non-food uses of fish.
 I collaborate with National Institute For Freshwater Fisheries to carry out research on "Suitability Of Cow Dung, Poultry Droppings And Their Combination As Source Of Nutrients Sustenance Of Phytoplankton Culture".
 I also collaborate with Lagos State University to carry out research on " Evaluation of Animal Protein Mixture as Replacement for Fishmeal in Practical Diets for Clarias gariepinus (Burchell, 1822) Fingerlings"
 Right now I am working on the use of phytoextracts in inducing breeding on Clarias gariepinus aimed at solving the problem of hunger and poverty under UNAAB IFSERAR program.
